Why I Plan to Change the Name of The Justin Jones English Institute

As the founder of The Justin Jones English Institute (JJEI), I’ve poured my time, energy, and passion into building a space where people from around the world can learn English in a way that feels personal, supportive, and effective. But lately, I’ve been thinking about the future of this institute — and the direction I want to take it in.
That’s why I’m planning to change the name of JJEI in the near future.
This blog post is here to explain why I’m making that decision, what the new name might be, and what it means for you as a student, reader, or supporter of my work.
The Vision Is Bigger Than Me
When I first started JJEI, it made sense to name the business after myself. I was the teacher, the tutor, the curriculum writer, the one running the show — and I still am. But as time goes on, I’ve started to realize that this isn’t just about me anymore.
My long-term vision is to create an institute that teaches more than just English — one that offers instruction in Spanish, Korean, Japanese, Italian, and other languages as I grow the business and hire qualified instructors from around the world.
That shift requires a name that reflects a broader mission. A name that speaks to a global, multilingual future — not just one tied to a single person or subject.
What the New Name Might Be
While nothing is final yet, the name I’m strongly considering is:
JJ Language Institute
It’s a shorter, cleaner version that still includes my initials (JJ), but removes the narrow focus on English. More importantly, it sets the tone for a multilingual space where students can learn a variety of languages in one place — whether it’s for work, travel, study, or personal growth.
Until the name is legally and officially changed, I’ll continue using The Justin Jones English Institute (JJEI) on my website, social media, and business materials. But I wanted to let you know what’s coming and why.
What’s Not Changing
The name might change, but the core values of this institute will stay the same:
1-on-1, personalized lessons that meet students where they are
Affordable, high-quality tutoring via Zoom
A focus on real-world communication, not just textbook memorization
And most importantly, my personal dedication to helping every student succeed
Whether I’m teaching English or expanding into other languages, my approach will always be about making language learning approachable, flexible, and effective for real people with real goals.
Looking Ahead
I’m still in the early stages of this transition. There’s paperwork, branding, website updates, and more that I’ll need to handle before the name officially becomes JJ Language Institute (or another variation I may land on). But I wanted to bring you along for the ride — because this change is about building something that lasts.
If you’ve taken lessons with me before, or if you’ve just started following JJEI, I appreciate your support more than I can say. You’re part of the reason I’m confident enough to grow this institute into something even bigger.
This name change isn’t just cosmetic — it’s symbolic of the direction I’m going in: toward more languages, more students, and a more inclusive, international learning space.
Thanks for being here at the beginning. There’s a lot more to come.
